Upon arriving in Ottawa, Violet faced the challenge of restarting her nursing education, showcasing remarkable perseverance and resilience. Her career path encompassed various healthcare environments, from hospitals to long-term care homes. A recent focus has been on community health nursing and wound care, where she identified a need for high-quality preventive foot care.

Inspired to make a difference, Violet expanded her expertise to specialize in foot care, emphasizing a commitment to overall wellness. Now, with immense pride, she is establishing her own clinic to provide top-notch foot care services.

Violet’s approach to healthcare is holistic, dedicated to finding lasting solutions for her patients’ well-being. She empowers them with information, firmly believing in making a positive impact on lives, step by step.

In 2015, Violet successfully graduated from Algonquin College’s Registered Practical Nurse program. She is a proud member of the College of Nurses of Ontario, Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario, and Podortho Nursing Association. Her dedication to professional development is underscored by her Wound Specialist designation earned through the University of Toronto’s International Interprofessional Wound Care Course in 2019.

Sylvie is a caring and passionate professional with over a decade of experience in the medical field. Through her many years of working in senior care, she noticed recurring foot ailments in her patients that didn’t always get proper attention. Motivated to address these issues and make a difference in their lives, she embarked on her Foot Care journey. The knowledge and know-how she gained through her specialization now serves her in providing patients of all ages with professional Foot Care in English and French.

Susan is a highly skilled and passionate foot care nurse, fluent in both English and Arabic. She holds a diploma in biomedical science, but soon realized her true passion lies in helping people. Drawn to a field where she could not only improve people’s health but also help them maintain it, she went on to graduate as a Registered Nurse from Western University.

Her diverse experience includes working at Ottawa General Hospital, providing home health care, and serving the community at London InterCommunity Health Center.
Susan is passionate about educating patients on preventive care, particularly in managing diabetes. Her interest in this disease and its effects on the body led her to specialize in foot care. She is currently working towards certification as a diabetic educator, driven by her desire to help others maintain their health and well-being.

Clara is a nurse with over 10 years of experience and great love for her career. Early on in her professional journey, she pursued a specialization in care for seniors and people with diabetes. She soon noticed the great need for foot care and education in proper foot health and hygiene, as well as the effect of neglecting foot health on their independence and mobility.

To add to her skillset, she completed both a Diabetes Educator Certificate Program and an Advanced Diabetic Foot Care Certificate Program, the latter of which she has been practicing for the last 9 years.

Clara is passionate when it comes to preventative care and diabetes education, and enjoys working in direct patient care. In addition to her experience and skills, these qualities make her a great foot care nurse and overall professional.

From a young age, Juliette demonstrated a strong desire to assist others. Her interest in nursing was sparked when she learned to care for her younger diabetic brother. She launched her nursing journey with a diploma from Heritage College in 2010, followed by a refresher course at Algonquin College in 2016. With foot care being an essential part of diabetic care, Juliette studied this specialization, adding it to her already solid skillset.

Throughout her career, Juliette has gained valuable experience throughout multiple healthcare settings such as clinics, long-term cares and hospitals. She strives to create a secure, welcoming space where clients feel empowered and cared for as she develops tailored treatment plans prioritizing each patient’s needs.

Kathleen is a caring and skilled nurse with great experience. She graduated from the Practical Nursing program at Canadore College in 2007, in North Bay, Ontario, then spent the next 16 years working in Nova Scotia. Throughout her career, she worked in community, nursing homes and children’s hospital settings, as well as having her own mobile foot care business.

Now back in Ontario, Kathleen is excited to work in a clinic setting. She is very passionate about helping people achieve better health, and believes foot care to be essential in maintaining good quality of life.

Asuncion Dolo

Asuncion (Azun) immigrated to Canada from the Philippines in 2007. She worked as a live-in caregiver for an elderly gentleman before obtaining her certificate as a Registered Practical Nurse. She has been working in long term care since 2013. After noticing the great need for foot care in her senior patients, she decided to specialize in foot care to better address their needs.

Azun is passionate about her work and cares deeply about helping people in need. She is commited to providing high quality care, and looks forward to working with her clients to ensure their individual health care needs are met.

Despite her youth, she possesses a profound sense of empathy, a crucial attribute in her role managing a clinic focused on patient care. Her ability to connect with individuals on a deep level stems from her genuine concern and understanding.

Her ability to understand and connect with people, combined with her cultural fluency, ensures a patient-centered and inclusive approach to healthcare management.
